Give it a Shot, Gunn

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Roeder got the bullet
The Board appointed Gunn
It took not long to decide
That (for now) he is The One

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Our ‘keeper in the Premiership
In our finest European run
He’s been around our club so long
There’s not much he hasn’t done

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Little managerial experience
(Until last Saturday he had none)
Already people are writing him off
Though he’s on a winning run

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 He’s always been a safe pair of hands
On Saturday – we won
However long this lasts for
At last we’ll have some fun!

Managers, with few exceptions, inevitably face the fans calling for their head – sooner or later. Bryan Gunn, our legend, former Sheriff of Norwich, dedicated fundraiser for leukemia (together with his wife Susan), knows this. If it doesn’t work out, there’s no going back. The man is prepared to risk it. So are the fans. Maybe, just this once, a dream can come true.
