poached or scrambled
do you like your strikers to be goal hangers
or prefer those who gamble
on a richochet or deflection
those who can score from a cross or a shot
don’t care how they go in
as long as they score a lot
should strikers be complementary
big man, little man
or does it not matter who gets the goals
as long as they stick to a winning plan?
the best goals are by your team
and fill you up with pride
the best goals for the opposition
are disallowed for offside!
