Good Luck To The Guv’nor!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Guv’nor’s off to Ewood Park
To manage Blackburn Rovers
With credentials for this gaffer lark
Earned with teams, in leagues down lower.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Will he make a blinding job of this
His first Premiership position?
Well from watching this bloke play out on the pitch
His team will show…… commitment!

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 He’s done the business lower down
Where funds are at a premium
So welcome to Paul Ince, the new English manager in town
As he prepares for the coming season.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 He’s served his time all over
Under managers bad and good
Whilst being something of a rover
He’s had more clubs than Tiger Woods!

Notes

Good luck to Paul Ince, in his first Premiership managers job at Ewood Park.

A bright young English manager who’s worked his way up to deservedly getting a crack with a team in the top flight, at long last, there were three or four jobs going that I thought he should have at least been interviewed for, but alas, wasn’t.

Good players don’t always go on to make good managers, but Ince seems to have that something all good managers have to have, he gets the team ethic to work with half decent players who play to his instructions, so the forth coming season at Ewood should be pretty interesting to see.
