Goodbye

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As each tick of the clock gets louder,
Each beat of my heart gets harder,
I watch as the minutes go by,
Can’t work, can’t eat, can’t cry.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I worry for nothing you say,
“It’ll be alright in the end”,
We’ve been here before you tell me,
Thanks, you’re just being a friend.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 What will I do tomorrow,
Will tomorrow ever come,
‘Cos today is the last day for City,
The end of a passion for some.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I expect the worst this time,
Can’t see us escaping again,
And those who committed the crime,
Can watch it on News at Ten.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 As each tick of the clock gets louder,
I watch as the seconds go by,
I couldn’t be anymore prouder,
To have followed you City, Bye Bye.

Notes
