Gran knitted this City…

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’ll knit you something in Norwich City colours
A yellow and green balaclava
– I just wanted a fountain pen Gran-
And I’ll knit a scarf for your father
Maybe matching bobble hats
I could crochet a rosette
Would you like some underwear
A vest and pants, the full set
Decked out like home knits
We arrived at the ground
Gran must’ve knitted some rattles
‘Cos there wasn’t even a sound
There was a kind of hush
There was no atmosphere
The team was moving its legs
But ’twas shaped like a pear

Notes

We’ve tried all the formations and our team has no shape – unless you count pear shaped. It’s looking worrying, we’ve tried everything – replaced the manager, rebuilt the stands – it looks like they’ll have to change the fans.
