Having The Courage To Change…It.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Caught him in possesion
Mugged him once or twice
Stop him forwardly progressing
To maybe score and win the night.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Shut him down and crowded him
Got stuck right in his face
And as he ain’t that fast at running
He kept getting done for pace.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Pep had done a job on him
He’d watched him on the tapes
Seen the way he seems to drift on in
Score and win us vital games.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So he wasn’t looking best pleased
When they tugged him second half
As his number shone on Barca’s green
Sarcastically he gasped.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Then trudged toward the dug-out
Where Guus and Butch were sat
Pulled his sponsored sweatshirt down
Slunk back and watched the match.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 It ain’t the personal glory
Or one man and his dream
His display, last night was poorly
So Guus tugged him, to benefit the team!

Notes

For one Frankie Lampard, who became a liability to our team the more frustrated he got in the Camp Nou, last night at the game passing him by, and the solid marking job Barca did on him, so much so that to his utter amazement.. he was subbed.

Sat indoors we couldn’t believe it, nor it has to be said could Frank, but hats off to Guus if plan ‘A’ ain’t working then change it… and change it Hiddinck! (He did). Frank son it happens, they tumbled what you’re all about and nullified you, so fair play to them for that.

Er…just what was Liverpools Jamie Carragher (or his double) doing sat in the Barca dug-out, front row, extreme right?

I know there’s talk of having a clear out at Anfield in the summer, but our season here, ain’t over yet Jamie son.

Peace

Kev
