Hillsborough Dads

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Another Fathers Day without you, another sad Fathers Day.
Twenty three years now since Hillsborough took you away.
Where do I send my love this year, Heaven’s my usual choice.
I’ll send my love through God as I’m sure he hears my voice.
Twenty three years is a very long time for somebody to miss.
That’s far too long to go without giving your loved one a kiss.
I love you everyday Dad, but today just that little bit more.
Hillsborough as ever this year has got so much to answer for.

Notes

For anyone that lost their Dad on 15/4/1989
