Homily for Ubiquity FC

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We?
We band together
Gaining strength in our numbers
In our uniqueness
In our ubiquity

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We
Right the wrongs
That another might make
Sweeping up the strewn errors
Like leaves off the lawn

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We
Provide the foundation
That others might flourish
We feed passes constantly
As we nurture and nourish

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 We
Provide solace and support
To the hurt, the gutted
We glue the cracks
So that setbacks can be rebutted

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 We
Can whip ourselves into a frenzy
Or provide clarity and calm
Whatever it takes to win
In a way worth winning

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 We
Are the mutual collective
That can provide perspective
But also the groundwork and dexterity
To bind dedication and sincerity

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 We
Might sometimes be pushovers
But are always
Honest with each other

Notes

Inspired after reading (for the first time) the quite brilliant poem Soliloquy of the Solipsist, by Sylvia Plath.

Although this is obviously the antithesis 😉
