Hooligans

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I maybe wrong but maybe right,
As why the English live to fight,
Not just in sport but everywhere,
We just offend and never care,
We have this feeling we are the best,
And far superior to all the rest,
And all the world we have to show,
That we are English`you know`.
Its same abroad on hols in Spain,
The English there are all the same,
The stronger beers that they all drink,
Goes to their heads and cannot think,
And then they break out into song,
With aggressive words and language strong,
Aimed at all our foreign friends,
Who made us welcome,we can never amend,
And no matter what authorities do,
Were only English through and through,
The aggression that’s in our blood,
Makes the English do what they should,
So that’s why no one will put it right,
Cos the English always live to fight.

Notes

Wrote after the Euro 2000 competition where the English once again brought disgrace to the nation.
