Horses For Courses.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The coach was in the car-park
(Not parked in front of the goal)
Whilst the masseuse geed the lads up
Instead of Mourinho.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The maestro waved his magic wand
As the side took to the field
T’was time for a change to our ageing squad
For another team re-build

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 What McCulloch said had clearly worked
With City under the thumb
Whilst Joe Hart’s assistant Woody Work
Made sure it stayed at one.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The result? Was a kinda bonus
But it’s the way in which we played,
With the onus
On a rapid passing game, of the kind us purists crave.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Who cares if they had injuries?
They’ve a load of talent in the bank
With a squad big enough to put out two teams
Of internationals every match.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Now their home record’s been shattered
As for their confidence who knows?
What I know is that where it mattered (up at the Etihad)
We have dealt their hopes a blow.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Now we’re off to give the horse his milk!?!
So the foal can find his strength
And if you really think we ain’t up for a title tilt?
(Like a tongue in cheek Mourinho says)
Then you’d better think again!

Notes

The mind-games have begun. So get ready Arsene, because once he(Jose Mourinho or Billy McCulloch) gets inside your head, and he will make no mistake about it, then you’ll really know that it’s game on.

“Were focusing on and building a team for next year’s title race” Yeah right Jose. Of course we are, and our little horses are too!?!

Carefree….braised in Celery.

Stay well, be lucky and keep smiling.

Peace.

Kev.
