Hot Potato

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 So Worthys gone to Leicester
The City, not the cheese
He’s spent the cash we gave him
Before he brought us to our knees
With his salt and pepper hairdo
And his boyish cheesy smile
He’s sure to beef up the Foxes squad
Though it could take a while
Team talks sting like vinegar
If you’re chicken you’ll get a stuffing
To be prestige like scampi fries
You must win (second is nothing)
Relegation is flavour of the month
They’re still in the falling multi-pack
When it comes to the crunch
They’re sponsored by a snack
Leicester went home empty-handed
One of the seasons many blips
At the moment they’re still fighting
But have Leicester had their chips?

Notes

Leicester 1 Norwich 2. Nigel Worthingtons first game in charge of the
Foxes. They’ve since lost to Birmingham. Nice to know that Nigel hasn’t lost his golden (wonder) touch. Good luck Mr Nice Guy, pleased to see you back in the fray.
