Howard Kendall RIP

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The condolences, and offering of
Are well and truly heartfelt
For Howard presided over the sort of Toffees
That would truly make your heart melt

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The sincerity seeps from every pore
A minutes ovation rolls around louder than a jarvey
Then in amongst the roar
I see the pain of loss –
In the face of Colin Harvey

Notes

Howard Kendall, R.I.P.

I loved watching him play in the 70 title winning team, as part of the holy trinity of Ball, Harvey and Kendall.

And then he led the Toffees to titles as their most successful manager ever.

Respect.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends

For me, the most heart-wrenching moment was when the camera landed on the face of Colin Harvey.
