Hugh Johns R.I.P.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I remember a bloke
In a sauve sheepskin coat
Holding the mike at St Andrews.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 When Francis was but a mere
Boy scoring goals
To Brum fans a right double handfull.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A voice that was sharpened
On a few pints of Brains
Oiled with the odd fag or two.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Hugh Johns has just taken
That mike to Elysian Fields
So for news of a goal scored
It’s over to Hugh!

Notes
