I Kicked Him Sharply on the Knee

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I kicked him sharply on the knee,
As he was running past.
No more would he belittle me
By zooming by so fast.
And as he lay there on the ground,
With arms and legs outspread,
I stood above him, darkly frowned,
And this is what I said: –

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 “Your ginger hair is quite absurd,
You have no sense of fashion.
If you had style, you total nerd
I might show some compassion.
Your lineage is peppered
With both vagabond and creep,
Your father was a shepherd
And your mother was a sheep.”

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 He looked at me, with face askew,
His hair so bloody gingery,
“Tell me why,” he asked, “must you
Add insult now to injury?”
