I want to be as chirpy as a Canary

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I took the sound advice of S.B. Ingle
and decided to just calm down
so when my beloved team got beat
I gave a cheesy grin instead of a frown.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And when my blood pressure got high
I remembered what S.B. said to me
so I took lots of deep breaths
and instead of Lager drank Green tea.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Football isn’t a game for the faint hearted
you have to be strong to survive
so thanks to these health warnings
I laugh whenever my team let in five.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So look after yourselves you fans
your team needs you to be fit and well
supporting your club should be a pleasure
not spending ninety odd minutes in Hell !

Notes

Love S.B. Ingle’s poem in response to my one about my club making me ill.

Football is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but to outsiders and football haters they can’t understand this passion of ours.

I remember Norwich not doing much for years just like Man City as well, but look at these two clubs now, proving that you just have to have faith and just hope for the best.

Cheers S.B.

.this is some love fest…
the sky and the sun
a tale of two great cities
the light blue …
and the bright yellow one…
