Ian Wright, The Buffoons Buffoon

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As I sat down for the Final
a few weekends ago
Cheese rolls at the ready
and some beers on the go

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 My heart went very heavy
as I saw him on the panel
and I knew that we were in for
a load of his old flannel

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 There is not any subject
that this clown can’t talk about
but I’m afraid that his opinions
make me want to scream and shout

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 On the subject of his son
and his lack of England place
he blamed Sven Goran Eriksson
and said ” it’s a disgrace”

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 He could not grasp the reason
and thought it a vendetta
for things that he had said
when he’d written Sven a letter

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The reason my old China
was plain for all to see
he had hardly played a game
since he signed on at Chelsea

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 The advice that you gave Shaun
at some point in the past
has now come back to haunt you
you got it wrong at last

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 If he had stayed at City
and seen the season through
he’d be on the plane to Deutchland
and no doubt so would you

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 So shut up with your whinging
and play a different tune
coz every time you open your trap
you sound like a buffoon
