I’m Only Kidding. Yeah Right!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 After what’s been a totally mental week
On the periphery of our game
We’ve “Robinho” Chelsea team shirts being knocked out cheap
Off bow and “arrers” in Petticoat Lane*.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’m glad he didn’t join the West London Blues
I’m so green with envy, that it hurts
But what’s an entrepreneur, now supposed to do
With a barrowload of snide, “Robinho”, Chelsea team shirts?*

This ain’t sour no grapes, but this bloke Robinho sounds like an 100% bona fide space cadet, well and truly weird man!

Ah but then all great artistes are a little bit on the strange side….are they not?

Even God’s chosen one (a.k.a Pele) has been having a pop at him.

I did say a couple of poems back that I’d never heard of this bloke, Robinho, that he was well overpriced and that’s the honest truth, so help me Pele (a.k.a God)!

*Bow and arrer is cockney slang for barrer, or barrow, in real proper Queen’s English like!

*Snide is a cockney slang word for counterfeit or fake goods often knocked out cheap of, off bow and arrers down East London’s Petticoat Lane street market of a Sunday morning!
