Impressive – says I

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Impressive – how an influx of invitees
imbued with isometric impetus
and ironclad in resolve
can so readily illustrate invincibility;
inter alia
itching to impress
iconoclastic in approach
interknit in their ivory tower
iridescent (when away)
full of an irreducible idealism
impregnable at the back
instinctive in front of goal
indomitable when on form
infectious with their attitude
influential with their imagery
infused with innate ability
insouciant when inflicting defeat
insomnia not an option, nor inertia
insomuch as
an immutable will
ignites an imperial performance;
no identity crisis here, no impasse
any criticism ill-founded
inadvisable to impune ‘fake’;
their ilk
idolized
ipso facto
this idyll
just the icing on the cake!

Notes

so say I : an incurable romantic!
inspired by Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Olympiakos in the 2nd leg of the Last 16 of the Champions League
and from reading too much Hugh McIlvaney!

Also reference to the criticisms and rumours that surfaced after Chelsea lost the Carling Cup final last w/e to Spurs
