In A Room!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 In a room of smiling faces
Agents start to rub their hands
Contracts broken on a daily basis
As clubs succumb to extortion demands
Overpaid and worshipped heroes
None of us care to say we hate
Whilst young people are helpless and homeless
The figues quoted on our nerves grate
If we are so lucky again
Contracts will go down the drain
Pay as you play is another option
Or a transfer cap to all
Isn’t it about time we copped on
Or the ends in sight for our football
If we’re to love the beautiful game
Tickets should all cost the same!
