1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 They were singing aloud down the underground
On Frankies lack of pace, his gait
As Fulham Broadway came in view
Them Irons fans thought it great
To ridicule Lampard junior
With a cockney slang tirade.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I couldn’t Adam and Eve it
The way they took the Mick
As we made our way up them apples and pears
En route to Stamford Bridge.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Them Irons fans made a hell of a noise,
Behind the ‘Ammers’ goal
Till a crackerjack of a shot, shut their racket up
And sent them back east empty handed
Hammered in by Joey Cole!

Notes

Hammers fans down the underground were really giving it some verbal abuse to Frank Lampard on the way to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

I’ve no idea what all that’s about but it seemed pretty ironic that Joey Cole another ex-“Ammer” should score the winner against his old team.

It (Cole’s goal) didn’t look offside to me, but..what do I know?
