Notes

London’s evening paper is full of this story. Fabio Capello say’s that Marco Van Basten has been offered the Chelsea job, the week after the permanant appointment of Avron Grant. Chelsea, of course deny it.

So what are Capello, Houllier and Hiddinck doing, lauding it up, out and about, in The Smoke then.

Waiting for the axe to fall on Martin Jol down The Lane? Who, rumour has it, has accepted the offer of the assistant managers job, to Sir Alex Ferguson, at Old Trafford.
