Might not be repeated again
But if Poll was miked up, as he should have been
Then the truth might prevail in the end

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Is the bloke off his head, to even think he’s got cred
From the punters who sit in the seats?
He’ll pull up the blues cos they’ve been cheating lately,
What exactly is that supposed to mean?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 If found guilty, then Poll should retire
Let him go and referee subbuteo games
And if Ashley Cole, in turn, is proven a liar
Then ban him, for all seasons games that remain

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 We all know the game’s rife with corruption
But referee’s predicting red cards?
Did Poll get his cards marked at last summers World cup
From the Italian refs, who’ve got it down to an art?

I thought this would have died a death by now, but no…it’s still running.

Someone’s having a right laugh here and no mistake.

Whoever’s found guilty? Come down on them hard as the poem says.

I don’t care if Cole is wearing a blue shirt, liars and cheating? Had it up to me ears, fed up with the lot of them spoiling the blimmin game for me and millions of others like me.
