Kipling’s Fans

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Arsenal are out of it
Out of all the cups
We’re looking at the downs right now
But don’t forget the ups
We went a year without defeat
We won the Premiership
That year we played the game real sweet
And now we’re in a dip
The highs and lows
The tos and fros
Are all part of the game
Let’s take those two impostors
And treat them both the same
Kipling said that when you play
And have lost, or drew, or won
If you can equal face display
You’ll be a man, my son

Didn’t watch much football, did he?
