As to what was suggested by the English FA
No replays next season in the cup after round five
And wot a Wednesday Final and you think that will keep the competition alive

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Dream on you muppets its the daftest suggestions to come out of your place
And youve had a few crazy ones though i have to say some have put a smile on to me face
But this one angers me how do you think fans will get to the final on a week night
Not that your bothered but for us true fans seeing your skipper lifting the trophey is a wonderfull sight

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I will be honest for most of the clubs its the only chance of success left for us now
After the game was taken away from the working man by the cash cow
I Remember the old bumper cans and cup final its a knockout only to well as a kid
the FA cup final day was special and to keep the magic in that silverware they gave it a lid

And you will demean it like you did before or thats how it seems
Yea i know we play midweek games now and thats what you will say
But were talking about the FA cup final and it means more to fans than just another day

Coz if you stopped playing now for Sven to prepare for the w/c finals he would still cock it up
Remember when you shot yourselves in the foot and you sent Man Utd to Brazil well you will do it again
And if you move footballs greatest day youl ruin it for good and this time you will take the blame

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 If you want to tinker reduce the cost and give the fans back the competition they love
Or let a lower league side reverse the fixture if they get paired with a championship side or from the premier above
This magnificent cup has been fought over since 1872 and the final has always been on a Saturday in May
So leave alone that tradition and remember its the fans final so you better make sure that you keep it that way
