Liverpool Fc

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I have dragged my old bones
Round the dust of the earth
Lain with love and her sisters (or two)
I have lived in a way that I fear for my soul
Risks taken oh plenty that’s true
I’ve seen miracles forged in the heat of the night
I’ve seen magic that came down from heaven
But God’s best rewards pale in the sight
Of the finest and best Anfield Eleven
I have witnessed the might of Ron Yeats
I have bowed at the feet of Stevie G
I have prayed to the glory of Kenny Dalglish
And I pray that Houllier will soon leave
Yes there’s been moments of which I’ve been proud
Rushies boots they were forged in pure gold
But none matched the miracles and magic I’ve seen
Of a grand Liverpool match winning goal….
