Here to stay is a new bird
She hums a Liverpool song
And we sing along
Scoring in a Liverpool wonderland.

Then pretend he’s Bill Shankly
He’ll say: I’m not Scouse
We’ll say: So sir, you can do the job when you’re in town.

To face unafraid
The plans that we’ve made

Until the alligators come and knock him down.
