with those multicultural boots?
they think they’re so cool but we need a new rule
it’s time to get back to our roots

it’s time the FA took a stand
each team should be told you get only one colour
of boots.. if they play in this land

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 it’s all getting very untidy
in our endlessly sanitized game
if you have to wear some with those terrible hues
at least let them all be the same

if your forward wants pink blue or green
they will do their own thing without caring a jot
if their boots border on the obscene

to totally different new heights
if you lie on the grass you get dazzled
but you don’t if they’re just black and white..

it might sound politically wrong
but if we ignore this alarming new trend
how long will our boots all get on!

Just a bit of fun after my footie mate Rick pointed out during a recent match, that he can’t remember last seeing any black boots.at any level!
