Losers Standing Tall

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We’ve played all our games
Though we’ve only won three
Nothing more to say
Constantly outplayed
In the bottom three
That’s our destiny
I don’t want to talk
About the pain we’ve gone through
It always feels the same
When we lose a game
Tell me, when Ashton misses
Is it like when Iwan missed
Nil is as good as nought
When our nerves are fraught
I agonise, it always makes me feel sad
Makes me feels so tense, no team confidence
‘Cos you see
The winner takes it all
The losers get nothing at all (polite version)
It’s simple and it’s plain
We’ll be relegated again

Notes

All the blokes used to fancy the blonde one from Abba and that was that. Nothing wrong with the dark haired one but she never stood a chance. Norwich City are never going to be Chelsea or Manchester United but there it is. They’re the team we were born to and season tickets for next year are selling fast.
