Losing the Passion

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You follow them home and away
through thick and thin
you keep on going
lose, draw, or win.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But when do you stop
that’s it and call it a day
your enthusiasm has gone
you no longer want to see them play ?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 This club you’ve loved for years
no longer stirs the Soul
you’re not even bothered
if they score a great goal.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Your mates say what’s wrong ?
this isn’t the real you
you’re usually full of passion
but now your mood is Blue.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Maybe I’ve run out of steam
had enough of feeling low
as I’ve reached that stage
when I can’t be bothered to go.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 I hope I can snap out of it
start feeling like a fan again
but there must come a time
when you’ve had enough of all the pain ?

Notes

I never ever thought I’d get fed up with my Football Club but due to all what’s been going on at Coventry City and with bad news day by day, my love for for the Sky Blues is at an all time low.

Many fans are feeling the same as we don’t seem to get any light shining on us just blackness all the time.

I hope my passion returns though because I keep telling supporters don’t lose the faith, so what a hypocrite I am then !
