Making A Fist Of It

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Robert Green, he’s riled
We saw him shake his fist
At his own fans
Meaningful gesture? Well it missed
Robert Green, bitter not mild
He’s going round the twist
Having a go at the River End
Because he got jeered and hissed
Robert Green, he’s filed
On the understudy, underdog England list
He didn’t like the stick
Unless things improve it will persist

Notes

Green was given ironic cheers when he continually sent long balls to our pint size strikers. In ‘frustration’ he gave a clenched fist in response. He says Norwich can’t play like Arsenal cos they’re not Arsenal. Yeah, think we’d worked that one out thanks. Thing is, we’re not playing like Norwich either, we’re playing like losers.
