Marco Silva’s Blue and White Army

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 They said we were ungrateful,
When we sacked Allardyce.
Well, truth be told, we can’t deny,
It wasn’t very nice.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But football is a business,
For sentiment no place.
So poor Big Sam, he had to go,
And swiftly be replaced.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Nil Satis Nisi Optimum-
We mean it, it’s no jest.
Third, fourth, fifth, sixth mean nothing,
We’ve got to be the best.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Tradition? It’s a millstone.
Ambition? It’s a cross.
We’ve not been Champs for thirty years,
But now with this new Boss…

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 His name is Marco Silva,
He’s worth his weight in gold.
(Or so we hope, let’s see next May
If “Silvaware” we hold.)

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 We’re Marco’s Blue Militia,
From the Fab Four’s place of birth,
And there’s really no more need be said,
For the whole world knows our worth.
