The awful heartache and the pain
That dreadful day when it was known
My beloved Oranje would stay at home

On that disgraceful day
Was that my hero, Nistelrooy
Would have no chance to play

If anyone at all
That magical ability
Every time he kicks a ball

At home or even away
But now we have a second chance
As long as Ruud can play

The Poem refers to The Netherlands not qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2002, and ends with a description of the excitement at Qualifying for the Euro 2004 championship after their 6 – 0 demolition of Scotland.
