So four of the so called “unfashionable sides”
Will get to have their never to be forgotten day
Out at the FA cups, pristine new final site.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And that shoulder charge?
A nailed on spot kick call
But how many times I ask you
Does gelled Ron like Drogba fall?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Nobody’s saying it’s right
All us punters knows that it’s wrong
Yet such things have a habit of taking a bite
At one’s derriere, as the season carries on.

A clearly passionate football being
But like our dearly departed Portu-geezer
He’ll have to learn, to take defeat, graciously on the chin.

Notes

I have to agree with Arsene Wenger, and as I didn’t see the horrific incident up at St Andrews, last week, I can’t comment on it.(Wenger later re-tracted what was said in the heat of the moment).

So what was Carlos Quriez doing comparing the shoulder charge, on Ronaldo, that I think should have been a nailed on penalty, to that horrible incident? The Portu-geezer (Quriez) looked like he was losing it big time on MOTD last night and no mistake. And as Sir Alex won’t talk to auntie beeb, was it another clever bout of mind games being played, I have to ask myself, by the Govan knight, to put pressure on referee’s?

Hats off to Lawro for the second time in a week for calling it as he see’s it. “I have to say that there are about four or five Chelsea players out there (naming every one of them) who really don’t want Barnsley in their faces this afternoon”. Great stuff.

Big Mick McCarthy was a breath of fresh air during the live game punditry as well. So although I’m a really dissappointed blues fan who couldn’t get to the game, I have to say, hand on heart, I enjoyed auntie beebs terrific presentation of a blinding match, immensely.
