1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 My all time select since being a white,
In goal would be HOPPY a legend quite right.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 A difficult decision in choosing a full back,
But I`ve selected them both in RITSON and DON MAC.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Center half was a hard one but STUBBS came out the best,
He gave a hundred percent in every contest.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Mid fielders were many and brilliant indeed,
And the first one to mind came the great PETER REID,
WARWICK RIMMER was another who marshaled the pitch,
And does anyone remember the skillful DUSAN NIKOLIC.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So up front FRANKIE WORTHY and McGINLEY along side,
ALAN THOMPSON and NOWACK are the men to play wide.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The subs I have chosen if if allowed to name five,
GARRY JONES on his day would skin them alive,
This midfielder on his day was the best we believe,
As for Bolton ROY GREAVES wore his heart on his sleeve,
To play for the whites he said it was an honor,
So the substitute goalie I select JIM McDONAGH,
And how could we ever forget JOHNNY B,
To watch him alone was worth the admission fee,
And last but not least a man who could thrill,
The great alias god FREDDIE HILL.
