Never Forgive, Never Forget

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You should never be forgotten
For what you did to us
Your legacy for ever stays
The sore, the pain, the puss

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Egomanias wonderful
The mirrors so much fun
Why take on a football club
If you’re going to pay no one

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 You saw people evicted,
No money for their rent
Players kept on playing
Despite your vile torment

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 It’s not hard to imagine
You’re an easy man to loathe
When your child, has no Santa
Never mind food and clothes

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Two investors and the fans
They bid for club and crest
But all you ever cared for
Was feathering your nest

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 You’re wireless tears fooled no one
They were of crocodile
Hatred til your sun it sets
Abhor, despise, revile

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 As you walk the streets of Cork
South Mall, chin up, a pillar
All we’ll ever see in you,
Cork Citys heartless killer

Notes

My club went to the wall because of an ego maniac chairman who only cared for making a fast buck. Players went months without payment, the clubs supporters trust set up a hardship fund to see them through Christmas. We have since setup a new fan run club.
Footbal fans have long memories.
