1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 They said last season was a bit of a freak.
As shock followed shock, week after week.
Teams not afraid to take on the ‘top four’
So what will this new season have in store?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Was Chelsea’s season just a one/off flop?
Will Liverpool do better under Jurgen Klopp ?
Can Jose work his magic at his new home?
Any chance Leicester can retain their throne ?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Will Spurs be able to make another title shot?
Can Arsenal do better than just a top four slot?
Any sleeping giants to emerge out of the blue?
Or is the dreaded drop the biggest fear for you?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 And if the ‘Merry Go Round’ swings once more.
Who will be the first manager shown the door?
As impatient owners with no real care for the game.
Swing their axe from afar if there’s no profit or gain.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Now The Premiership is awash with money from TV
Yet lower League teams struggle, that’s wrong to me.
With so much money about it seems grossly unfair.
That there’s such a divide in the game we all share.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 But for all its faults, I’ve waited patiently for this day.
I hope all my hopes and dreams are still intact in May!
But since The Foxes have proved how things can be.
Only winning the League Title will now satisfy me!
