No Going Without.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 My finger nails would be manicured
Not chewed down to the bone
Or frustrated by injuries
To young Michael Owen.
With the money I’d save
I would pay off my debts
No running down to the bookies
And placing daft bets.
SKY TV. subscriptions
Would come to an end
Free from their shackles
With money to spend.
So that’s it I’ve decided
And convinced the dear wife
Football’s no longer a part of my life.
But she does not believe me
She has heard it before
And soon the smell of the pies
And the sound of the roar
And we’ll leave Newcastle central
Aboard the early morning train
Destination OLD TRAFFORD
For the big kick off again.

Notes

Of course I could review the situation depending on the result at Old Trafford on Sunday August 17th.
