No Time To Ponder!

No time to get depressed
So thank you France and cheers Brazil
I’m left mightily impressed

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 At last the game we all wanted
At last the ebb and flow
Tis indeed a shame that only one of two remains
And one team returns home

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A rejuvenated French team
Where Zizou had a vision
Have lit the torch for fine football at last
Where some had heaped derision

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Movements of the highest order
Cut and thrust attack
Brazil refused to just lie down
As the French kept coming back

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Excitement and majestic grace
All about the field
Quite vibrant and electric pace
As both teams would not yield

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 We really need some final
To eclipse a match like this
But the tournaments outstanding game so far
Is what I’ve just witnessed

After such a feast must surely cease?
This is what we true fans all crave
Art as beautiful as this!

Notes

As this match came after the England game it left no time to ponder on what could have been.

It just gave me a terrific lift to watch a match such as this and made up for the heartache of earlier in the day!

Ah “The Football” what a great way to get over a downer, just watch another match much better than the one before for that great buzz!
