Not enough cash for the Boro clash

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I went to the reebok today to see my beloved team
And I ended up listening to a live Radio stream
Cos I went with a season ticket in order to upgrade
But I was short of the tariff which left me dismayed.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The story behind this came from events of last season
As I didn’t re-new my ticket for more than one reason
But my daughter bought my seat just in case I changed my mind
It cost her fifty quid which I thought was very kind

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 So today I decided to go and see the Middlesbro game
I took the junior season ticket which used to be in my name
Went to the ticket office to upgrade to adult cost
They told me the price and I froze like Jack frost

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The price of my ticket was an extra thirty quid
Hold on I said this is Bolton and not Real Madrid
The last game I went was cheaper than today
They said this one was different it was a category A

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Well I fumbled around to see how much I could find
Both my Son and Daughter couldn’t give me piece of mind
I was still way short of the admission fee
And there was no local pub that was showing it on TV.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 So I jumped in my car and sped from the ground
All because I was short of the Great British Pound
So disappointed I didn’t take enough cash
I may need my extra money for the play off bash

Notes

Serves me right for turning up with a junior ticket and expecting only a small price for an upgrade.
