ode to chorley

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Batten down the hatches, for here they come.
Everbody make way for the rising sun.
For here comes a team clad in black and white.
Who through gritted teeth, will stand and fight.
As General Flitcroft drives them on,
and the terraces sing,
“come on Chorley, come on”.
1 NIL today and what a day, next week we’ve got fc away.
Battle lines are drawn and the end’s in sight,
but tomorrow there’s always another dogfight.
Come down to the park they call “victory”
and support the black and white army.
