OH ENGLAND

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 England played Japan, it should have been a breeze,
but they underestimated, the inscrutable Japanese.
England went one up; the fans gave a cheer,
now they felt they had nothing to fear.
But they couldn’t score again and the fans got bored,
then through James’s legs, the Japanese scored.
England brought on subs, all to no avail
now the fans began to wail.
Poor old Sven, he was in a trance;
what’s going to happen, when this team meet France?
He’ll have to think again, will he change the team?
His diamond formation, just didn’t gleam.
He said the team was tired, their eyes were bleary
well they will have to be open, when they meet Thierry.
Then Sven will have to come out of his trance
or France will lead them a merry dance.
Unlike Japan, the French will be meaner.
And England will need to be better, or be taken to the cleaners.
