Oh How I Love To Be A Football Fan

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Oh how I love to watch the scores come through
Oh how I love to see Liverpool at the Bridge
Oh how I love to stand on the terraces in November
Oh how I love watching my local team
Oh how I love shouting on those bluebirds
Oh how I love to educate as many as I can about Hillsborough
Oh how I love telling man united fans they support the wrong team
Oh how I love that putting up five fingers to a man u fan is offensive
Oh how I love to hear you’ll never walk alone play
Oh how I love to see Suarez score at the Kop
Oh how I love the warm-up, worrying about being hit with the ball
Oh how I love to see the player coming out of the tunnel
Oh how I love to see the ball in the net
Oh how I love the relief the final whistle brings
Oh how I love the fight for a promotion place
Oh how I love the fight for that elusive champions league place
Oh how I love to be a football fan

Notes

Some of these especially the november one may seem sarcastic but they’re honestly not and as I say in the poem
Oh how I love to be a football fan
