Said when we go down early doors
If we take the lead from the kick-off
“Oh no -its too early to score”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 “Two nil is a dangerous score”
Not content with being ahead
Let’s hope our opponents equalise
You can moan about that instead

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 If we’re losing 4-0 at half time
“We may as well let in six
We just don’t look like scoring
We need a penalty or lots of free kicks”

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Battle back to make it level
“Why couldn’t they play like that first half?
His constant moaning gets on my nerves
Wish he’d go for an early bath

There was a bloke who used to sit near us who was glass-half-empty to the extent that he probably died of thirst. Negativity flowed from his veins, he never relaxed – even the time we were five goals to the good! Football equals pain…
