Oh what a Gaffa!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 There’s a new man in charge
signed two years ago,
now Liverpool’s at large,
who’d ask for more?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He signed a flop or two,
I tried to watch with glee,
but I haven’t a clue,
why Nunez and Josemi?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Since then he’s been great,
Alonso, Garcia and Kromkamp,
and even though it’s late,
he’s brought Robbie Fowler back.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The same with his tactics,
he didn’t start strong,
but for the Champions League
we didn’t need to wait long.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The trophies started flowing in,
when Rafa decided to begin,
the FA, the Super and good old big ears,
it should be Rafa and co. awarded with “Sir’s”

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The entertainment they give us,
late scorers, delight and the rare handballers
along with the occasional fuss,
of our tremendous own-goalers.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 We’ve got Gerrard for keeps,
and Carra’s always staying,
Crouch has come on leaps,
and other teams are paying.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 You might be quite jealous,
because our fans are so zelous,
but we shall never moan,
because we’ll Never Walk Alone.

Notes

I improvised this poem from beginning to end.
