OMG. Back To The Drawing Board.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Watched a shell-shocked Dassaev
Disbelief in his eyes
As Van Bastens rocket flew by
Caught the cheating Diego
Teasing our hero’s
With: “Tackle me, come on then try?”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Seen a screamer by Gus
Fortify us
As The Mackems were put to the sword,
Or that deft flick by Zola
Drifting in near the post
Cause Canary’s to cease chirping in awe.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Drogba’s strike v The Toffee’s,
Sticks as wondrous obviously,
For chutzpah and sheer brutal force
Or Belanovs technique
In The World Cup v Belgique
Was the best goal I’ve ever seen scored?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Yet last night on the telly
Dinner perched on my belly
I stood up from my seat and went WOW
As a hit-man from Malmo
Scored the gem of his salvo
With the greatest I’ve seen up to now!

Notes

This ain’t no run of the mill volley punters, as all the papers would have us believe. To me and most genuine fans like me it’s simply an overhead bicycle kick executed quite brilliantly by a bloke with the real chutzpah to take it on, playing right out of his skin at the moment.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (the worlds highest paid footballer or so we’re told) has been scoring on average a goal every 2 games in whatever team he’s ever played in, and for a big bloke (who can look after himself as well) who scores a shed-load of headers to boot (sic), he can half play a bit on the ground as well, as Ingerland found out to their cost over in Stockholm last night.

A quite wonderful goal scored by a top notch hit-man.

A great game by the way.

Go well and be lucky.

Carefree……

Peace.

Kev.
