On seeing a Packet of Cigarettes in the Street

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I saw a pack of fags today, the name it said Right Price,
And as with Bosman transfer frees, the price was a surprise,
For when you buy a Right Price pack, you’re bound to lose your breath,
For when you pay the said right price, the said right price is death.

Notes

There has been much cold and illness, alas, in our castle since the importation of the tobacco from the Americas. See the poem The Lady Eats Shallots to see how the smoking ague has affected our football team here at Camelot.
