1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Well England are on their way
so now let all the hype begin,
in fact Roy Hodgson has now said
he thinks his young Lions can win.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But hang on a minute there Roy
haven’t we heard that many times before ?
as every time we get to a World Cup
we then struggle to even score.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I bet the players will complain about the heat
not to mention things like altitude,
they’ll probably moan about the hotel
and say they can’t stomach the food.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 But Roy sounds really positive and upbeat
and says he’s got players with lots of skill,
and if he can keep them fit and together
they can go and win the World Cup in Brazil.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So it looks like the hype has already started
and now you just watch the media join in,
but even though we want England to do well
we all know the Jules Rimet they’ll never win.

A great night last night and even though I’ve been cynical about England they did play really well I thought.There’s still room for improvement but we do have some good young talent there,but are they good enough to lift the trophy ? It would be great to see that happen but I honestly can’t see it happening.I hope my negativity is proven wrong though !
