One Swallow

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 One robin redbreast doesn’t mean its winter,
A car in front does not imply a jam.
You won’t turn into wood from one small splinter,
It doesn’t mean it’s Spring when one smells lamb.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Losing slumps do not mean there are crises,
Substitutions don’t imply unrest,
Fishy referees aren’t always Pisces,
Winning Cup ties doesn’t mean you’re best.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A fail in Irish doesn’t make you dumber,
You can’t judge people from their home address,
A 4-2 win does not mean it is summer,
But things got somewhat milder nonetheless.
