1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 was it something up there
in the fresh Morecambe air
with its glorious prom and sea breeze?
was it something that Sven could not say why or when
could they not see the wood for the trees ?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 in affairs of the heart
we must stand back apart
and search to the depths of our Sol
but what can you do
if before it’s game two
your new bloke’s lost sight of the goal?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 yes it’s too late to shop
for a Notts County top
with Campbell adorned on the back
who’s vision is larger
and marks his departure
but better than getting the sack

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 it’s one world one Sol
one game and that’s all
it’s bye bye to lower divisions
could Pompey or Spurs
or the Arsenal or ‘Gers
figure in Sol’s next decisions?
