We make the journey on
To a contest in far foreign fields
That weaker men may shun

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 All the chaps are well rehearsed
In what they must pursue
To make our nation proud again
Is what they plan to do

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Nirvana is our destiny
It’s constant in our thoughts
When all around us say ….enough
Onward we will walk

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Though tough and rough the road may be
As limbs get torn and bruised
Without pain there is no gain
So winners cannot choose

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Adversity may raise its head
But we will struggle on
Through opposition pressures us
Our team will stand strong

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Lesser men may try to dampen thoughts
Of reaching zenith’s peak
But we are those who walk the walk
Who know that talk is cheap

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Lion hearts we stand as one
Divided we will fall
In times of being put upon
Our strong men give their all

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 We know it won’t be easy
To champion our cause
But we are made of mettle strong
Onward we will forge

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 The country looks to such as we
To represent its all
Collectively we can succeed
By staying on the ball

10 Leave a comment on verse 10 0 Though metaphors may come to mind
In times when blood is up
Our vision will not be impaired
Of winning the World Cup

11 Leave a comment on verse 11 0 Will we have the final say
In who picks up the cup
Will our best be good enough?
Only time will tell as much
